1. About this Service
Justneed.ai (the "Service") is operated by Justneed AB, a company registered in Sweden ("we", "us", "Justneed"). The Service is a career platform that helps job seekers create a verified Digital Skill ID, discover jobs, apply to them, and (in future versions) connect with recruiters. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you ("you", "your") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service. Simple as that.
2. Your account
To use most features of the Service, you need an account. By creating one, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You will provide accurate, current information about yourself
- You will keep your password secure and not share it
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account
- If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms
You can close your account at any time from the Profile screen → Delete Account, or by emailing hello@justneed.ai. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
3. How you may use it
The Service is for genuine job seeking and career development. Use it in line with that purpose.
You agree NOT to:
- Create a fake account, impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are
- Falsify your skills, experience, education, or qualifications on your Digital Skill ID
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service without our written permission
- Use bots, automated tools, or AI agents to interact with the Service except where we explicitly support them (e.g., our own integrations)
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code that could harm the Service or other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, our infrastructure, or our data
- Use the Service to harass, spam, defraud, or harm other users or recruiters
- Resell, sublicense, or commercialise the Service or your account access
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Swedish or EU law
One simple rule: use Justneed the way you'd want others to use it — to genuinely find work, with truthful information about who you are and what you can do. If you wouldn't say it in a job interview, don't put it on your Digital Skill ID.
4. Your Digital Skill ID
When you sign up, the Service automatically generates a unique Digital Skill ID code (format: JN-YYYY-XXXXX) for you. This code represents your career identity within the Justneed protocol.
- You own your Digital Skill ID. You can export it, share it on other platforms, put it on your CV — it travels with you.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information attached to it. Each skill, certification, and credential should be truthful. Lying on your Skill ID is grounds for account termination.
- Verified status means a skill or credential has been confirmed by a third party (employer, course platform, certification body, or via national e-identification like BankID once available). We may revoke verification if we discover false claims.
- Public profile: if you choose to make your Digital Skill ID public, anyone with the link or QR code can view selected public-safe fields. You can revert it to private at any time.
- If you delete your account, your Digital Skill ID becomes invalid. The code itself is not reused, so future scans show "not found".
5. Your content
You retain all rights to content you upload (your resume, cover letter, profile photo, written profile text). By uploading, you grant Justneed a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and to people you explicitly share it with (like recruiters you apply to).
This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. We will not use your content for marketing, AI training, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the Service to you, unless we ask for and receive your explicit consent.
6. Job listings & applications
The Service displays job listings from third-party sources, primarily the public API of Arbetsförmedlingen (Swedish Public Employment Service). In future versions, recruiters may also post listings directly.
- Justneed does not verify the accuracy of third-party job listings beyond what the source provides.
- Justneed is not the employer for any job listed. We do not guarantee that any application you submit will result in a response, interview, or offer.
- When you apply, your selected profile information is shared with the employer or recruiter. They become responsible for how they handle your data from that point.
- Match scores, AI-generated cover letters, and other smart features are aids to your application — not guarantees of success.
7. Fees
The Service is currently free for job seekers. We do not charge for account creation, job search, application submission, or any core feature.
If we introduce paid features in the future (e.g., premium AI features, priority application status, advanced analytics), we will:
- Clearly mark them as paid
- Never automatically charge an existing account for a feature that was previously free
- Let you opt in explicitly
For recruiters, the Service is free during the beta period through 31 December 2026. After that, transparent per-seat pricing applies, with grandfathered discounts for beta users.
8. Our brand & intellectual property
The Justneed name, logo, the "Digital Skill ID" concept and code format, the agentic AI platform architecture, the visual design of the Service, all software code, copy, and content we created are owned by Justneed AB and protected by Swedish and EU intellectual property laws.
You may not use our brand, logo, screenshots, or trademarks in your own materials without our written permission, except for fair-use commentary (e.g., writing about Justneed in a blog post).
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do everything we reasonably can to keep it secure, accurate, and running smoothly, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every specific need you might have.
Specifically, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law:
- Justneed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to either (a) the amount you paid Justneed in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) 1,000 SEK — whichever is greater.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law (such as for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence).
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time, for any reason, by deleting your account from the Profile screen or by emailing us.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, particularly if you falsify your Skill ID, engage in fraud, harass other users, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We will notify you of suspension or termination and the reason, except where doing so would prevent us from investigating wrongdoing or would violate law.
If we terminate your account for cause, we will delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve by talking it out will be settled by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live. You may also use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform for consumer disputes.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and through an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you don't agree with the new Terms, you can close your account before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
